Nothing against white/Anglo/Caucasian people, but where are all the minorities in leading roles on the CW? Didn't the CW in their awful FREE TO BE campaign promise to be TOGETHER and be a diverse network? They've got Tyra, Chris Rock, and Tia Mowry. All the other shows, the minority cast are just supporting characters or tokens. Couldn't 'Surviving the Filthy Rich' have been done with a wealthy black family? It worked with Fresh Prince. They could have gotten Tamera Mowry and put the show on after The Game! We could do away with the encore and keep Reaper on the fall schedule.
I hope that the new CW president will get some things in development and maybe get a show with a leading actor who's Asian or Hispanic.
Why are you asking this just of the CW? Shouldn't you be chastising all television in general. However, outside of BET, The CW has held up their end of the bargain in my eyes without going over the top. While some shows are just stark white, they do have supporting roles as well.
Its one thing to have diverse program, but it is another thing to have the programming just to have the programming. It doesn't help the bottom line either as history has shown.
And remember 90210 has an african american lead and a mideast supporting cast and Sytlista is a Tyra Banks product as well.
