I am a big fan of My Boys on TBS. Has anyone seen any news on how it is doing ratings wise this summer? Thinking that since TBS hasn't promoted said ratings that is not a good sign but maybe they just aren't as great as say The Closer or Monk....

My Boys isn't doing very well. It loses about 1/3rd of the viewers from lead-in Bill Engvall. It is a shame that My Boys isn't doing better as it is a much funnier show than its lead-in, IMO.

My Boys has turned from a mediocre at best show into one I look forward to now. I hope it sticks around for another season. It's really not very compatible with Bill Engvall's comedic formulaic style.

Thanks Obveeus. I don't get cable numbers regularly enough so that information helped a lot and also worries me a bit. It would be a shame for My Boys not to get a second part to this season especially when the order for this episode was only 8 it is by far my favorite comedy right now.

Riley-I don't think that the Bill Engvall show has gotten an official pick up either but I am pretty sure they will.

Renewed for a third season of 9 eps according to blogger and Star-Ledger columnist Alan Sepinwall. Haven't been able to track down an actual press release but I'm sure it'll pop up this afternoon.

And the above posters probably know this by now, but Engvall was also picked up.

I'm glad this show is coming back, it's really good. Sad it's only 9 episodes

I like the show too. I can't believe more people don't watch it. I wonder what the DVR numbers are.
