Marc,
Thank-you for answering my question during Friday's podcast about ABC's lead ins. Do you think ABC would've been better off using perhaps Primetime as the lead in for Boston Legal this past month and a half?

Yes...its doing relatively well and would be a good fit into Boston Legal. But, at this point Boston Legal is what it is and I don't think even a powerful lead-in like Dancing With the Stars would help much.

Well I agree that BL won't ever get much past 10 million and a 3 demo but like you said, ABC doesn't have much so I say BL deserves a decent lead in to end the year on and see what happens. If it returns to near former levels, then it should be renewed and perhaps stay on Tuesday. If not, I still say it deserves renewal and should probably go to Fridays.

Marc, do you recall any programs which have aired original episodes in the 10:30/9:30c timeslot? This Tuesday night on ABC, the comedy "Miss/Guided" does just that because it follows a 90-minute edition of "Dancing With The Stars".

One of the sitcoms I recall that aired at this unique time was "Good & Evil", a 1991 ABC comedy from the folks that brought us "Soap" in the 1970s and starred Teri Garr. I vaguely remember the show to be somewhat funny, however, it was most infamously known for featuring an overly stereotypical blind character, which ticked off the National Federation for the Blind at the time.

Does anyone else remember that short lived show? Just curious.

And I believe NBC had comedies at 10 & 10:30, on Saturdays, for a season in the early 90's.

Carol & Company was at 10pm and Dear John (and others) at 10:30

In 1992 Fox aired programs on Sunday in the 10:00pm/10:30pm hour, with Flying Blind at 10:00pm and Woops! at 10:30pm.

Marc,

Since My Network TV is getting back in to scripted programming and will soon be the home of Friday Night Smackdown, will you begin reporting on the young net in your daily reports, come this fall?

That's what I thought. Until MNTV is willing to fork out the bucks and have Nielsen release fast affiliate data for their network, their fans can't expect to be included in your numbers.
