I see CBS has ordered six eps of Million Dollar Password, the latest incarnation of one of the most-successful game shows of all.

The original was hosted by the late, great Allen Ludden; his wife, actress Betty White, was a great celeb player in the later incarnations. I hope she appears in this new version.

I wonder what celeb's they get to play?
Will it be the usual D-list reality "stars"?
Just CBS stars?
or a wide range of TV and B-list movie stars??

Considering that Betty White returned to her regular spot on the "Match Game" episode of "Game Show Marathon" in summer '06, she may very well be invited to appear on the new "Password".

I'm wondering if CBS may use this new "Password" as a stop-gap between the two cycles of "Survivor". By ordering six episodes, the game show could easily take over the "Survivor" slot during January and February.

If the game show is good, that would be perfect.
Then just use it occationally in the winter and spring as specials or to limit reruns of some shows.
