'Gilmore Girls' canceled Say goodbye to "Gilmore Girls."
After weeks of talks aimed at bringing the show back for a limited run next season, the CW and Warner Bros. TV have decided to wrap production on the quirky dramedy that focused on fast-talking femmes.
Skein, now in its sixth season, will air its final episode May 15.
Just a quick note on all this cancellation stuff. If GG doesn't pull a 7th Heaven and if VM is indeed cancelled as it's numbers prove, then Kristin's Save our Show campaign will basically be proven worthless! And that my friends is a big positive in online TV world. I enjoyed GG when I tuned in (which is about 10 times total in my lifetime). VM wasn't bad in season one, but its time for both of these shows to go.
Perhaps I misunderstand the definition of "cancelled", but isn't Gilmore girls basically not coming back due to the stars choosing, well, not to be on the show anymore?
If so, this is not really a cancelation, as aren't cancelations when the network yanks the rug out from under the show? (See: Northern Exposure, anything with George from Seinfeld, Profit, etc.)
Personally I agree that it's time to end gilmore girls, I tuned in on and off through the years, and became a fan again around the 5th season. Now that rory is graduating from school and getting a real job it's definately time to call it quits.

Well its still a cancellation. The CW reportedly was the one who didn't want to pay up.
