I personally can't stand either one of them. I do remember when Rosie's daytime talk show began in the mid 90's. She was a much needed change to the Jerry Springer-Ricki Lake-Jenny Jones type shows that were on daytime at the time. She was funny, smart and compelling. But, at some point, she felt she needed to constantly get on these political tangents. I can't stand to listen to her anymore although I do give her credit for going on Bill O'Reilly's Fox News show and duking it out with him.
As for Trump, is there anyone more obnoxious? Even if he was geniunely angry about Rosie's comments, he could be classier and not make fun of her weight and looks. I think this is all being done to help the declining ratings of both the Apprentice and the pageant. Marc can correct me but haven't the ratings for Miss USA and Miss Universe been pretty low in the last few years?

Yes, they have jeauxjeaux10. Very few people care about these pageants anymore, and I hope The Apprentice tanks. I used to watch it, but with Trump's children now judging the contestants I won't watch. quote: Originally posted by jeauxjeaux10: I personally can't stand either one of them. I like Rosie and only watch the View because of Rosie and hot topics. I turn it off after hot topics, unless they have a good guest on the show. I respect that she says it, as she sees it. I like that she walks the walk, when it comes to charity. I like that she supports the arts. Some men seem afraid of her, cuz she's a woman with an opinion. Frankly, I find that completely interesting. I like smart people. I like funny people. I thought Trumps comment were LOW class. He attacked her way below the belt. I still think that Trump only made comments because he wanted FREE publicity for the Apprentice. Sorry but a guy who buys a beauty pagent to get a wife, is pretty smarmy!

When was Rosie on the Factor? If I remember right, it was Bill on the View and watch the tape. Rosie looked like a fool. If Rosie wanted to return to daytime, she should have gone back and done another talk show of her own. quote: Originally posted by jeauxjeaux10: I personally can't stand either one of them. ROUND 2 .... Donald Trump Is So Sad Barbara Walters defended Rosie O'Donnell on The View this moring. Regarding O'Donnell's bitter fued with Donald Trump, Walters said, "Donald Trump [claimed] that I am not happy with my decision to bring Rosie O'Donnell to this table. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have never regretted, nor do I now, the hiring of Rosie O'Donnell. She has brought a new vitality to the show, and the ratings prove it." In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, Trump calls Walters a liar and continues his misogynistic and homophobic tirade against Rosie. http://www.grandvideos.com/file/1010-donald-trump-strikes-again.html The CW Television Network Presents: Gossip Girl Premieres Wed.
