Sci Fi's Battlestar Galactica to End After This Season

As its fans have feared, Sci Fi's Battlestar Galactica will end its run after this, its fourth season. Executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eik said they will wrap up the show's storyline with these 22 episodes.

As a big fan, I say... THANK GOD.

Like Lost, this show needed to know how long it had left to live to put the endgame in motion and dole out answers. The show will be better for this announcement.

I hope the announcement means there will be no more filler episodes and the producers give a definite ending and not leave it up to everyone to figure out what the ending meant or leave it open so they can possibly get a miniseries or feature film out of the show.

Hopefully Sci-Fi will pick up the "Caprica" spin off and run it next summer.

Yeah, the show will end definitively, no mini's or movies after the end.
