Check out Variety for their opinions on the new fall dramas.

Some losers are no surprise (like Viva Laughlin), but others are a surprise (maybe this is why Canterbury's Law got moved to mid season?).

Reaper and Pushing Daisies are practically off the chart in a good way.

Found these results very interesting.

Comedies: Aliens, Big Bang, and Back to You are all very highly regarded. The lowest-rated fall comedy is neither Cavemen (3 thumbs up, 9 down) nor Carpoolers (2 up, 9 down) but in fact Samantha Who (2 up, 10 down). Surprising. Cavemen reaction was negative, but not universally so, which is about what I would expect.

Dramas: I thought Pushing and Reaper were the two best pilots I saw, so no real surprise there (though I'm worried about the quality holding up in both cases). For me, the only real surprise is Big Shots, which I didn't expect to rate so well.

Rave reviews for Pushing Daisies and Reaper. Nothing too surprising except Big Shots which has generally gotten negative buzz.

I take a critics opinion with a grain of salt.
Their opinion is about as useful as my dead cat's

Not a good sign for Moonlight that only One critic saw the pilot. CBS must be keeping this under wraps

I think there's been a ton of reshooting and stuff there, so it may not be ready yet (maybe the one guy who saw it saw an early version). I don't think the Brothers and Sisters pilot was finished at this time last year, though I could be wrong.

Yeah, and if we take their word on Cane, then we have to take it on Viva Laughlin (well, I'm pretty sure TV-aholic already has an opinion on this). Wink

Go ahead, but I'll still say that a new procedural like the Man is their best shot at success on Tuesday at 10 or even better moving the overrated the Unit back an hour and try something new, Jericho, or the Amazing Race at 9 on Tuesday. The 3 and done club is calling.

Jericho??? It couldn't attract viewers if they PAID them.
The Unit may be the weakest show in the CBS Fall Schedule. And why would you schedule Amazing Race against American Idol??
