Odd since October Road is not mentioned on their website whereas Traveler has a 'coming soon'.

I assume this is for Men in Trees repeats. The Grey's repeat lead in will still give it a respectable lead in and if it gets some original episodes for a lead in, it could take off, much like Grey's did.

If it's good. And the ABC development team has been lacking this season. Someone at ABC told Marc that Men in Trees would likely be renewed so I doubt that it is off the schedule permanently. quote: Originally posted by mushu_jj: I assume this is for Men in Trees repeats. Move on to Steven, the formerly successful photographer who finally, after years of self-destruction, is taking control of his life and getting his career back on track. Follow with Damian, who can’t escape his criminal brother’s shadow; on to Mae, the girl with a past that she’s hiding from; then to Carlos, the good guy who’s fallen for her, and finally to Ray, the force of nature who will eventually bring all these characters together. “Six Degrees” stars Jay Hernandez as Carlos Green, Bridget Moynahan as Whitney Crane, Erika Christensen as Mae, Dorian Missick as Damian, with Campbell Scott as Steven Caseman and Hope Davis as Laura. “Six Degrees” is shot on location in New York City and is produced by Bad Robot, Nosebleed Productions and ABC Television Studio. I bet October Road performs at levels close to Men in Trees. Six Degrees won't work on Friday. quote: Originally posted by Marc Berman: Here is the release:

Agreed. If Six Degrees didn't work on Thursday, it has no shot on Friday. It is simply a burn-off. quote: Originally posted by TV Talker: I bet October Road performs at levels close to Men in Trees. Six Degrees won't work on Friday.

Ya I think you're right, but who knows? Men in Trees worked on Friday and if ABC managed to work out the kinks then maybe it will find a large enough audience to get its episodes burned off. Now why doesn't ABC just give the 9 the 8pm Friday slot while they're burning stuff off. quote: Originally posted by tvfan300: Agreed. quote: Originally posted by healingbuddy: Why ABC is bringing back that g-d awful 6 Degrees is beyond me.
Because they want to annoy as many New Yorkers as possible when they block off streets to do the filmings, of course. Why should NBC and the Law and Orders have all the pleasure of annoying us to death?

Wow! Now THERE's something new for a TV series--an unhappy dude returns to his hometown. Why didn't anyone ever think of THAT before?
