CBS 5.7/ 9
NBC 5.3/ 8
Fox 5.3/ 8
ABC 3.3/ 5
CW 1.2/ 2

----------

-Percent Change From the Year-Ago Evening (Tuesday, May 29, 2007):
CBS: +19, CW: no change, NBC: -12, Fox: -24, ABC: -31

----------

Note: The fast affiliate results for Tuesday will be posted at PIFeedback by 12 p.m. ET. Go to the website, click on Ratings Box (the first category), then Last Night’s Results, and Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

----------

-Yesterday’s Winners:
Hell’s Kitchen (Fox)

-Yesterday’s Losers (Excluding Repeats):
According to Jim (ABC), Most Outrageous Moments (NBC)

----------

-Repeat Alert:
60 percent of last night’s schedule was encore telecasts.

----------

-Ratings Breakdown:
CBS won this lackluster pre-summer Tuesday in the overnights, followed by NBC and Fox tied for the No. 2 spot. Fourth overall was ABC, followed by the CW. Look for Fox to dominate the evening among adults 18-49 once the fast affiliate results are posted.

The second season-premiere of Fox game show Moment of Truth finished second behind a repeat of CBS’ NCIS, with a 4.7/ 8 in the overnights from 8-9 p.m. The NCIS encore averaged a 7.0/11. Although this should still be more than enough for Moment of Truth to win the hour among adults 18-49, this is down considerably from its recent overnight average.

Third overall in the 8 p.m. hour were two episodes (original and repeat) of NBC’s Most Outrageous Moments at an average 4.1/ 7, followed by two episodes of ABC’s According to Jim (avg. 3.5/ 6), and a repeat of Beauty and the Geek on the CW (1.3/ 2). Why ABC won’t cancel According to Jim is what you would call an unsolved TV mystery.

Fox moved into the 9-10 p.m. winner’s circle with Hell’s Kitchen at a solid 5.9/ 9 -- 13 percent above the 8:30 p.m. portion of Moment of Truth (5.2/ 8). Second in the hour was a repeat of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU (5.5/ 9), followed by a repeat of CBS’ The Unit (4.2/ 7), two repeat episodes of ABC’s Samantha Who? (avg. 3.3/ 5), and a repeat of the CW’s Reaper (1.2/ 2). Don’t forget: The Unit moves to Sundays at 10 p.m. this fall out of Cold Case.

The regularly scheduled encore telecast of NBC’s Law & Order: SVU led the 10 p.m. hour, with a 6.3/11. Second was a repeat of CBS’ 48 Hours Mystery (5.9/10), followed by a repeat of ABC’s Boston Legal at a 3.3/ 5. Also don’t forget: the final season of Boston Legal moves to Mondays at 10 p.m. out of Samantha Who? this fall.
