"Spooked" is directed by Brad Anderson ("The Machinist") and written by Matt Venne ("White Noise 2: The Light"). While on a stake out in a haunted house, a private eye (Eric Roberts, NBC's "Heroes") is made to confront the demons of his past. Jack Noseworthy ("Judging Amy"), Cynthia Watros ("Lost") and Larry Gilliard Jr. ("The Wire") also star.
This one sounds pretty good to me. I wasn't the biggest fan of "The Machinist", but it was definitely a great looking movie. With Supernatural reruns at nine and Fear at ten, Thursdays have become a nice little creepfest for me.
Missed the first and I thought # 2 here was exceedingly bad.
The only redeeming value I saw in this was the music scoring, which while being excessive, did have a few pieces that would have enhanced a better produced story. But overall this was an amateurish washout, the kind that raises questions about the judgment of whoever made the decision that this would get air on a major network, or any network for that matter.
